Dr. Brian Ballios uses his expertise to talk about the article titled "Autologous Induced Stem-Cell–Derived Retinal Cells for Macular Degeneration" by Mandai et al. The article reports use of induced pluripotent stems to culture and transplant Retinal Pigment Epithelial Cells in a patient with advanced Age-Related Macular Degeneration.
